Coffee break

kafaMy dearests, how are you? September has arrived, autumn is almost here, time for house coffee breaks. Coffee is one drink that caused many disagreements throughout centuries, and was the subject of various stories but we must say- it is the most famous drink in the whole World. I love coffee and I was thinking of it as the one and only bad habit I have, but not long ago I found information that World health organization declared that actually coffee is good for our health and by drinking it we live longer !?!? And, once again coffee “makes the world go around”…good or bad that is the question now. In Serbia, coffee came along with Turks and it was not the favorite drink among the local population but now so many years later, coffee is served in a Serbian houses with the traditional drink rakija and sweets as the main symbols of Serbian hospitality. Catholic priests use to think that coffee is a drink of the devil and it makes people get drunk and today not far away from Vatican there is coffee shop with the best espresso in the World. What about that? Also, did you know that one king in England did not allowed coffee break since he was thinking that it is very dangerous for the crown. According to him, coffee beak is lost time but dangerous. It could destroy even the king himself.

Did you know that coffee ground after you drink Turkish or Arabic coffee can be used for cosmetic purposes?

During the rule of Turks in Serbia, many historians, writers and people that lived back in that time, were witnesses of the Turkish girls perfect skin. Coffee was the reason for that. You do not believe? Try and you will see. Take the remains of the coffee grounds and rub your face, neck, decolte and do not forget the hands. It should be used not more than twice a week and with regular use your skin will be nice and clean, just like Turkish girls use to have. If you are asking yourself, why hands? Well, hands show the first signs of age as well as the face and we will talk about it in one of my future post about hand care as well. I promise, you will like it.

And at the end, as always I wish you to be healthy, beautiful and see you soon. Do not be impatient…I am coming back soon!
