Hand care – Mara’s magic

Hello, my dear friends, how are you? Do you enjoy this Christmas magic? I must admit December is the time of the year I love the most. I like to make different kind of surprises for people I love. I enjoy cooking, decorating and setting the table, cleaning and decorating my house. I enjoy doing it, my family as well but this is the period of the year my hands need more attention than ever. Did you know that we have the same amount of skin on our hands and our face? Also, we must admit that first sings of aging appear on our hands. With good care and massage, we can prevent aging on our hands. Our hands will look nourished, skin will be smooth and glowing. I have to say, I am extra sensitive on how hands look like. My grandmother Ana had 6 grandkids, 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. I am the youngest and when she was babysitting me, before every meal I had to show my hand to her. They needed to be clean, nails cut and clean. For my grandma hands were the mirror of the soul of every woman. My cousin Mara always had the most beautiful and nursed hands. I still remember how she use to seat and take care of her hands and nails, back then I was just a little girl. Even today, so many years letter, every single time we meet, I always look at her hands. Today, she still has nice and nourished hands and she still takes a good care of them. Thanks to my grandma and my cousin Mara, nourishing my hands is a pleasure for me. Today in this post I will share some of my tricks that I use to take care of my hands. I called them Mara’s magic and this post is in honor of my cousin who taught me how to take care of my hands and nails.
HANDS PEELING
Peeling is the base for having nice skin on our hands. We should do a peeling twice a week in the evening, the same as for the face and this is the base for beautiful and healthy skin.
Take some tiny sea salt, add olive oil and several drops of lemon essential oil. Mix it well. Peeling needs to be as line paste. Smoothly rub your hands and then wash them with worm water. Your hands will be smooth. If you want you can apply some olive oil on your hands, put a plastic bag on and wrap in a hot towel. If you want a better result you can apply a hand mask.
HANDS MASK
Take some dry fruits and put in boiling water. When fruits become soft, take them out of the water, put them in a blender, add one egg yolk and 1 tea spoon of Greek yogurt. Mix all the ingredients well and then apply this mask on your hands, put plastic bag on and wrap in a hot towel. Keep it for about 20 minutes, take the mask off, wash your hands and apply some of your usual hand cream on your hands.
Be healthy, beautiful and nourished.
SEE YOU SOON-)))
