In case you did not take good care of yourself during the winter time, it is the “last minute” to start. You don’t have time to postpone any more. Nice weather and summer clothes will “reveal” all of your winter time secrets.
Today, in this post, like you probably know, there is again one little secret, that will keep your youth last longer.
Aloe vera is one, let say, magic plant well-known to the mankind for over than 6000 years. Through centuries it was used in medicine, for therapeutic use, in rituals…But, you probably want to know how you can use it for cosmetic purposes. All ancient beauties knew about aloe vera. Minoan princess Ariadne, all Egyptians, among them Cleopatra and Nefertiti as well, Levana of ancient Rome, they were using this magnificent plant.
Aloe Vera was well known and often used. So much that it was known as a plant that helps with open wound in case of leprosies. All of this will make us understand that aloe Vera is very efficient in treating our skin.
Nowdays, aloe vera is unfortunately forgotten. Everybody talk about it but, let be honest, no one has it at home. Well you can find it in health food stores like juice or gel but the best way to use it is to take one little peace of the plant, to cut it in the middle. Liquor the gel directly from the plant to your clean face and leave it there during the night. I use this trick when I do not have time or to be honest when I an too lazy to do the complete treatment. Also, I use aloe vera in case I get burned during cooking or ironing. Well, aloe vera is the best plant against wrinkles. Very similar and efficient plant, that it was well known as a symbol in every house in my country, in Serbia, that is houseleek (lat. Sempervivum tectorum). In case you do not have aloe vera just use houseleek. You will be satisfied as well.
